As a family we really enjoyed the lodge. A really quiet place to stay, clean and cosy. A good location to discover Kent and Sussex - we went to Winchelsea beach which was lovely..... We also spent another day at Camber Sands - a fabulous beach, all sand, it was like being in the South of France. Rye was a great place for antiques and we had some delicious food at a restaurant called Simply Italian. Great Dixter House, Rye, was amazing, a truly romantic 15thC house and gorgeous gardens - a real step back in time.

We’ve had a great short break in quiet and very beautiful surroundings, with a nice swimming pool and cosy lodge.  Thank you and lots of luck in the future.

Thank you for a lovely weekend; the whole family thoroughly enjoyed the facilities and gave me a fantastic 60th birthday.  We will certainly keep you in mind for future special occasions.  By the way, we can also recommend the King's Head in the village; the food, service and setting are first-class.
