This area of Kent has many interesting National Trust properties and historic attractions. Ashford has a futuristic Designer Discount Factory outlet with over 100 shops. Outings to London, Canterbury and Leeds Castle are a must. For day trips to France the international Passenger Station at Ashford has regular Eurostar trains and Le Shuttle terminal is just 15 minutes away for the 20 minute trip with your car through the tunnel. Alternatively the ferry terminal at Dover is just 30 minutes away.
